HOT-MELT COATING LINE

The Hot Melt line consists of a bidirectional duplex unwinder with automatic alignment system, a swivel unit to control the pull on the material, and a bidirectional cut-and-glue unit. The reverse roller coating unit for applying the adhesive is of the closed-chamber doctor blade type, and the tunnel oven for the drying part comprises 3 sections of 2.5m each with pneumatic openings and motorised rollers.

Three heating and ventilation units to supply and circulate hot air to the oven, motorised drive unit including calender, pneumatically controlled rubberised pressure roller, flat head coating station with roller coated in special rubber for high temperatures and chromium-plated contrast and cooling calender. At the outlet there is a group of 3 600 mm calenders: one with a plasma-coated non-stick surface and two with a smooth chromium-plated surface.

At the end of the line there is a bi-directional duplex winding unit with independent arms, automatic alignment system, rolling system during winding and a bidirectional cutting unit.
